Religion, a system of faith, is one of the most important pillars of every functional society. It has helped nations to unite under an agreeable spiritual vision, or to have faith and hope even in very challenging times.

With every new era of the human story, a new system of faith arises. It was the case 2.000 years ago for the western population, just like in more ancient times or distant cultures. It is an inevitable reaction to a deeper psycho-spiritual change within the human psyche. We can clearly witness another era is gradually beginning nowadays, so we have to ask ourselves: what is the “new religion” going to look like?

Looking at the direction of our current inner transformation will give us the answer. We are becoming a global society, or in other words, we are heading toward a perspective of collective consciousness. Mutual understanding throughout cultures is thus our challenge and task. Realizing that we are one huge nation, a human organism dissolves barriers that have been built during fearful times. Especially young generation is already living this reality through the global Internet network, traveling, etc.

From a religious point of view, it is the greatest challenge. Many religious sects have stood against each other for a very long time accusing each other of blasphemy, paganism, or worse. That has created many strong barriers between nations, so a global religion still sounds like something utopistic or impossible. However, looking at the core of all great religious philosophies, we can find surprisingly similar or identical notions and beliefs. And that is where we have to start to look primarily. What unites us is more important than what separates us.

If we intend to find one word that would summarize the core of all religions from east to west, from south to north, it would certainly be the word, Love. Love is the essence every truly enlightened master has talked about. It is the inner direction of every spiritually oriented individual, from the surface of matter to the depths of the Soul. That means Love is not only our true religion but also our true nationality, a “place” of deeper origin.

For those who are ready to step into the new era, a new religion is being built within their hearts: A religion of Love. Love is God, Love is Christ, Love is Buddha, Love is Mary, Love is Krishna, etc. Love is a supreme collective being, a cosmic womb to all creation. That highest divinity dwells within every human, so the new religion of Love is firstly psychological recognition of one’s individual fragment of Love. Through that “individual Love”, we are able to merge with the collective God, whatever name we try to label it.

Every spiritual master has been pointing at this truth and it’s time to start to live it. Equality, brotherhood, respect, altruism, empathy, and other virtues are part of Love and need to be applied to all living beings without categories of religion, nation, or race. The religion of Love is directly organized by “God” and our Hearts become his/her church. Love loves everyone, everything infinitely and eternally. It’s time to become Love.
